Peace Maker Foundation is incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit organization in 1998 in Ramsey County. Peace Maker Foundation (PMF) is not like other charities. We are one of only eight federated (umbrella) fundraising groups recognized by the State of Minnesota.
The other seven federated organizations are the United Way, Community Health Charities, Community Shares of Minnesota, Minnesota Environmental Fund, Open Your Heart to the Hungry and Homeless, United Arts, United Negro College Fund.
Peace Maker Foundation is the only federated fundraising organization dedicated to raising money exclusively for K-12 schools. We are meant to be a resource for facilitating community investment in school-based youth violence prevention efforts.
