10 Reasons why people generously support our work
With every $500 in new or increased contributions that we receive we enter into an ongoing partnership with a new school. Contact us if you would like to see a school funded in your area.
-
We provide financial assistance to a school that they have a connection to; either the donor graduated from the school or they know someone who has or is currently attending the school.
-
They like knowing that 100% of their gift goes to funding a school. This is because a small endowment pays for all of administrative and fundraising expenses.
-
Because they realize that they can do more working with others than they can do alone. A donor may not be able to sponsor the peacemaking work of a school by him or herself, but together with other supporters he or she can.
-
They like the idea of supporting volunteers who freely give their time, talents and money to help student learn to be peacemakers.
-
They like that our work is preventative and teaching skills that can be used not only at school, but also throughout a person's life at home, at work and in the community.
-
They know that their gift truly makes a difference in the number of schools we support and the number of students learning to be peacemakers. That even the smallest gift gets us closer to funding another school.
-
They see the work schools are doing with the funds they receive and they want to see it continue and to grow.
- They know us and trust us. Nearly everyone who has donated to our work knows one of our volunteers. If you would like, please feel free to contact us. We would be glad to get to know you too.
-
They want to do something that will make a difference for future generations by creating a permanent community resource for peace education through designating their gift for endowment purposes.
The number one reason why people support our work:
-
It gives expression to their values of compassion and solidarity and their desire to see an end to violence.
