2020 Candle Lighter Campaign a Success!

Thank you for all the ways that you chose to “be the light” for our Candle Lighter Campaign. Together, we exceeded our goal of 350 gifts, receiving 407 gifts totaling $22,385.78, and we raised an additional $8,800 through challenge and matching funds, generating $31,185.78 for violence prevention and peacemaking education across Minnesota!

 Because of you, we secured these challenge funds:

• $1,000 from an Anonymous Donor in honor of Judy and Roy Wolff

• $200 from Dick Sarafolean for a Peace Guide at Kaposia Education Center

• $250 from Premier Banks for a Peace Guide at Little Mountain Elementary

• $250 from Premier Banks for a Peace Guide at St. Helena Catholic School

And, because of you, we received an additional $200 from Adagio’s Pizza Factory as part of our One-Day Bonus Challenge and an another $500 from United Educator’s Credit Union as part of our first-ever 25 x 20 Gift Challenge and Book Give-a-Way!

Our first ever Book Give-a-Way proved a fun addition with the 1st, 5th, 10th, 20th, and 25th donors winning books, thanks to the generosity of Judy Galbraith, Free Spirit Publishing; Julie Penshorn, Smart Tools for Life; and Rebecca Janke.
