Susan Temple

Peace Guide- St. Paul School of Northern Lights

Susan comes to Peacemaker MN with decades of experience connecting with, supporting, and teaching kids. She began her career as an elementary school teacher, where she quickly realized that academic success is deeply tied to emotional well-being. After retiring from teaching in 2016, her interest in the ways people grow emotionally and socially led her to become a Certified Life Coach and Emotional Freedom Techniques (also called “Tapping”) practitioner. In her practice, she had the privilege of supporting kids and adults in understanding and overcoming emotional challenges.

Today, she is thrilled to return to her roots in education with a fresh mission: helping kids navigate conflict, build healthy relationships, and strengthen their self-esteem.  As a Peace Guide, she believes that every kid deserves to feel seen, heard, and empowered.  Susan’s goal is to nurture the emotional resilience and teach the social skills that allow kids to thrive, in school and in life.

When Susan is not working, her favorite thing to do is to spend time with her five adult daughters, their spouses, and her seven grandchildren.  Susan and her crazy little dog, Beau, like to take long walks, and Susan enjoys singing, playing piano, and listening to live music.
