Isaac Nicholl
Peace Guide, St. Paul School of Northern Lights

Isaac’s journey to peacemaking began on campus at Western Washington University in the PNW, where he served as a resident advisor supporting fellow students. This experience deepened his understanding of how desperately people need to connect and feel supported by others, and of the importance of relationships in all environments. From there, he gained additional experience through community health outreach, urban forestry tree planting, and work as a camp and after-school counselor.

His experience led him to discover the joy of working with youth, seeing their development, and partnering with them to find their best selves. He has dedicated the last three years to youth work in the Twin Cities, from classroom education to after-school care to summer camps. Isaac firmly believes empathy can improve lives, and that it is never too late to make changes and become the most authentic version of yourself. He strives to be a trusted adult in others' lives and to remind everyone that they are a sacred, precious gift.

Outside of work, Isaac adores outdoor adventures to waterfalls, learning to lead songs, and finding/making whimsy every day.
